With over, 200k families diagnosed with the rarest form of Alzheimer's, Early/Young-Onset Alzheimer's, it is like a back road that few travel, off a busy highway many are familiar with.
Medically they share the same struggles as Alzheimer's families, but EVERYTHING else is different. Young-Onset Alzheimer's affects people younger than age 65. Doctors do not understand why most cases appear at such a young age. Up to 5 percent of the more than 5 million Americans with Alzheimer’s have young-Onset.
These families have been cut down in the prime years of their life. The years when they should be raising families, building careers, saving money for retirement, or just becoming empty nester's, they are instead, living an emotional, medical, financial and yes, even governmental red tape nightmare. Instead of creating memories to last a lifetime, they are losing their loved ones and need a voice.
WE WALK THIS TOGETHER, a Texas 501 (c)(3) organization, is that voice. Help them be heard.

We Walk This Together is a Texas 501 (c)(3) organization. We support families & caregivers of those diagnosed with Young-Onset Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia related conditions. Thru various programs, our online connected community, forums and partnerships, we offer a platform and place for resources, help and learning.
